Powerless to Powerful ....Where do you stand?
Have you ever had a taste for something so good, that it makes your mouth water? You can't find any place close that serves it the way you like it, or maybe you had it 1 time before and never again? You played with the thought of trying to muster up the brave pioneer within to make it at home, but quickly felt the immediate embarrassment of it turning out horrible.
Much like setting Goals in our lives, the thought sounds freakishly amazing enough to write it down and declare your will towards it, no matter the length. However, what happens when it doesn't go as planned? When the goal is not obtained and what seemed within a reasonable reach becomes a tear stained collar of defeat.
What happened to the excitement behind the words, declaring that you will pass the class, ace the test, make that sale, buy that house, get that promotion, restore the broken relationship, lose the weight, or just simply stop procrastinating? The word Empower means to give authority, or to claim rights over something. Somehow I think, somewhere down the line we have lost the understanding of just that.
Being empowered doesn't just mean "I am woman here me roar", but it means to learn how to release authority over things. Learning how to not release authority over the things we can not control. It is up to YOU rather or not you quit fighting, having hope, or become defeated over something that does not happen on your terms the first time, 2nd time or even the 3rd time.
Being empowered is realizing you hold all authority over things concerning you, and understanding that even when things don't go as planned... there is a bigger purpose behind it. Trusting the process of your purpose and holding on to your power is what will allow you to reach that moment of finally accomplishing that Goal.
Never lose your power Babe
